Buckin' Rodeo

About

The rodeo everything.

Buckin' Rodeo covers the sport the way the sport deserves. Every major rodeo, every week. Pro, college, high school, and the regional circuits the rest of the internet forgot. Plus the music, the culture, the gear, and the life that lives next to the dirt.

What we do

We run live standings off a daily pipeline that talks to the PRCA. We build athlete profiles on every rider in the top fifteen of every event. We track stock contractors and the animals they haul. We file editorial in the Dispatch that reads like the sport reads in real life, not like a press release.

Where we cover

Everywhere. Denver in January, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, Austin. Red Bluff, Clovis, Redding on the spring California run. Reno, Cody, Calgary, Cheyenne, Salinas, Dodge City, Ogden, Pendleton, Ellensburg, Puyallup. Wherever pro rodeo runs in 2026, we're in the coverage.

Who writes it

The Dispatch files under one byline, Buckin' Rodeo. The editorial desk is in Nashville. Every piece is sourced from live standings, federation press releases, rodeo daysheets, and verified athlete posts, then edited and approved before publish.

How we use AI

We use AI as a drafting tool. The pipeline pulls live standings, schedule, and stock data, runs structured drafts through a strict fact-verification gate (every name, score, time, dollar figure, and quote must trace to a sourced fact in the brief), and then the draft goes to a human editor. Nothing publishes without editor approval. We do not invent quotes, athletes, scores, or events. When data is missing, the section drops rather than guessing.

What's coming

A mobile app. A daysheet replacement for live rodeos so the program in your hand and the screen in your phone say the same thing. A merchandise line we've been saving for the right partners. Podcasts. Video. More writers, more beats, more photography, everywhere the sport runs.
