Futures trade looked strong again this week with a little warmth coming back to the cash market. As I am writing this, bids are $228 in the south and $220 live or $350 dressed in the north. I do think high break-evens are going to hang over this market for a while. I think the producer optimism will be the test going forward. The squeeze is now on the shoulders of the feedlot.
