Iowa Senate might consider amendment to eminent domain bill

Iowa landowners are hoping to gain traction on legislation to protect against the use of eminent domain for carbon pipelines in their state. HF 2104, which the House approved in the first week of session, has been awaiting Senate action since then. The original language of that bill simply prohibits the use of eminent domain for carbon pipelines.
