Stampede, brawl spur chaos at S.C. rodeo with injuries, arrests - WRDW
A rodeo and concert in Gaston, S.C., turned chaotic when unauthorized fireworks caused a stampede of horses into the crowd, injuring several people. Ten individuals received on-site treatment, with eight subsequently hospitalized, and another eight were arrested for disorderly conduct as beer cans were thrown at officers. Police are investigating the event coordinator for setting off fireworks without a permit.
