Frequently asked

How do rodeo standings work?

Rodeo standings rank athletes by what they have earned or scored over the regular season. PRCA, WPRA, and CPRA rank by prize money in their listed currency. NIRA, NHSRA, APRA, and PBR Brasil rank by points. Each governing body publishes its own standings; Buckin' Rodeo aggregates them under one roof and labels every page by sanctioning body.

Who qualifies for the National Finals Rodeo?

The top 15 in each PRCA discipline by USD earnings on September 30 qualify for the Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas. WPRA qualifies the top 15 barrel racers to the same field. A 16th PRCA qualifier comes from the Playoff Series.

When does the rodeo regular season end?

PRCA and WPRA both end the regular season on September 30. CPRA ends mid-October before the Canadian Finals in Red Deer. APRA, NIRA, NHSRA, and the PBR Brasil tour run on different calendars; each federation card below shows its own season window.

How often do these standings update?

Pro standings refresh from the upstream feed multiple times per day. Amateur and youth standings update weekly. Every federation page stamps the time of its last refresh so you can see how current the data is.

Why does Buckin' Rodeo split standings by federation?

PRCA earnings, NIRA points, and NHSRA state-level standings are not comparable. Mixing them into one ranking would mislead. Every standings page on Buckin' Rodeo is scoped to one sanctioning body and labeled accordingly.
